The Orange Brown is an economical switch, with a very subtle tactile bump measuring around 40gf to overcome. The actuation weight drops back to 35gf, before rising to 55gf at bottom out. The soldering pins feature a removable cover. If this cover is soldered to a keyboard, this makes it possible to remove the entire switch after soldering.
As a part used for switch modding, the plate mounted top and bottom housing set works very well with other tactile or clicky stems.
